Thesis
A write-up is mandatory for applicants who are currently not working at an investment fund, though only a small percentage (<10%) will gain admission. For those who are currently working at a fund, submitting a thesis is optional, but will greatly increase your chances of being granted admission.Qualifying investment funds for SumZero membership are hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms, and proprietary trading desks at investment banks. Your thesis can be a long or short idea and must contain a compelling valuation discussion. (500 word min.)
